Privacy
CueLive stores the minimum needed to run clubs, matches, devices, and optional YouTube streams. This notice explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and your choices.
1. Who we are
CueLive provides live scoreboards and related software for pool clubs and touring players. We are the data controller for information processed through cuelive.tv and the CueLive Tablet app when you use our service.
Contact: hello@cuelive.tv. For privacy requests (access, correction, deletion), use the same address with the subject “Privacy request”.
2. What we collect
Account
Email, password (stored by our auth provider, not as plain text we can read), display name, and membership role (owner, admin, staff).
Club and tables
Club name, slug, city, country, description, logo, website and social links if you add them, table names and numbers, license status, billing orders, and settings such as default race and stream quality.
Devices
Pairing codes, device name, app version, last seen time, and which table a tablet is bound to.
Matches and players
Player names and optional country, formats, scores, timestamps, table, and whether a match was saved or closed without saving. Public pages show this when you play.
YouTube and Google sign-in
If a club owner or admin connects YouTube, CueLive uses Google OAuth and YouTube API Services. We receive and store:
- OAuth tokens needed to manage live broadcasts on your behalf (refresh tokens are encrypted at rest);
- YouTube channel ID and channel name;
- broadcast and stream identifiers needed to start, bind, and end a live;
- which CueLive table is using which YouTube connection.
We do not receive your Google password. We do not download or store the camera video file on CueLive servers — video goes from the tablet to YouTube.
Stream consent
When YouTube is enabled for a match, the tablet records which broadcast terms were accepted (participant consent, venue rights, YouTube policies, copyright, privacy/minors, public replay), who accepted them if known, and when.
Waiter calls
Which table called, and when staff acknowledged.
Technical
Session cookies, IP and browser data in ordinary server logs for security and debugging, for a short time. See Cookies.
3. Why we use it (legal bases)
We process data to provide the service you signed up for (contract): accounts, licenses, pairing, live scores, public pages, overlays, and waiter banners.
We process YouTube/Google data only to connect your channel and run live broadcasts you start (contract and your instructions when you click Connect YouTube or Go live).
We process security logs and abuse prevention on legitimate interests. Where the law requires consent (for example some marketing in the future), we will ask separately.
We do not sell your contact list. We do not use match data to advertise to players on other sites. We do not use Google user data for advertising, credit decisions, or data brokerage.
4. Google API Services — limited use
CueLive’s use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements. In short: we use Google/YouTube data only to provide or improve user-facing features you see in CueLive (connect channel, start/end live, show connection status), we do not transfer it to third parties except as needed to operate the service (hosting, Google/YouTube themselves), and humans at CueLive do not read your Google data except when you ask for support, for security, or when required by law.
Google’s own privacy policy applies to data Google processes: policies.google.com/privacy.
5. Who else sees it
- The public, for names and scores you publish by playing, and for public match pages.
- Your club members, in the workspace.
- Infrastructure providers that host CueLive (database, auth, and application hosting).
- Google and YouTube, when you connect a channel, sign in with Google OAuth, or start a live broadcast.
- Authorities, if the law requires it.
6. How long we keep it
Account and club data last while the account or club exists. Match history stays as the public archive of the room unless you delete matches you are allowed to delete. Server logs are rotated. YouTube tokens last until you disconnect the channel in Club Admin or revoke access in Google. Stream consent records are kept with the match. Billing order records are kept as long as needed for tax and accounting.
7. Your choices and rights
You can update club profile and members in the workspace, unpair tablets, and disconnect YouTube under Streaming. To revoke Google access entirely, use Google Account permissions and disconnect CueLive.
Email us for a copy of your account data, a correction, or deletion. If you are in the EU/EEA/UK or Albania, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, and port data, and to complain to a supervisory authority. We will answer within the time the law requires.
8. Children
CueLive workspace accounts are for adult operators (club owners, admins, staff). Do not create an operator account for a child. CueLive is not directed at children under 13. If a junior player’s name or image appears on a public scoreboard or stream, the club is responsible for having the right to show it, including parent or guardian permission where required. Live broadcasts are not marked “Made for Kids” in YouTube.
9. Transfers and security
We use reputable cloud hosts. Data may be processed outside Albania (for example in the EU or US). Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards. We use encryption in transit, access control, and encrypted storage for sensitive tokens. No method is perfect — keep your password and pairing codes private.
10. Cookies
See Cookies for the list we use, including sign-in and Google OAuth during YouTube connect.
11. Changes
We will update this page when the product or the law requires it. The date at the top will change. If we start using Google or YouTube data in a new way, we will update this notice and, where required, ask for consent before the new use.
